What are Article Resources?
NWTC pays for access to articles from over 16,000 journals. These articles are available through the following resources:
Accessing Article Resources
You can locate these resources under Find Articles on the Library's home page, or access them directly using the links on the left.
If you are off-campus, you will first need to login with your student or employee ID number and computer password.
Narrowing the Search
Some article resources are made of several databases full of articles.
You can search all of the databases at once or select just a few that focus on your subject area.
Which Resource to Use?
ProQuest is our largest resource and covers most subjects.
EBSCO is also a comprehensive resource.
Opposing Viewpoints and SIRS have articles on current issues.
CultureGrams provides articles about countries and cultures.
Encylopedia Britannica provides a good starting point when you need to learn more about a subject before you start narrowing it down for a research project.
See our complete list of resources and descriptions to help you choose the right one for your search.
