  • Online databases include ones such as EBSCO, ProQuest, and Opposing Viewpoints that are accessed through the Library’s website.
  • If you are citing an article from a library database that is available in other places, such as a newspaper, include the newspaper homepage's URL. You may have to do a web search of the article's title, author, etc. to find the URL.  https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/10/
  • Unlike other periodicals, p. or pp. precedes page numbers for a newspaper reference in APA style.
