Instructions

Use our Journal Alert guide to get step-by-step instructions on how to create journal alerts and article alerts from the library databases.

Journals

What is an Alert?

In many of our article resources, you are able to set up alerts.

Journal alerts - Receive an email whenever a new issue of that journal is added. Get the table of contents along with links to each new article.

Article alerts - Search for articles on a subject and then receive an email whenever new articles on that subject are added.

You can even get alerts as RSS feeds.

Journal Routing

Prefer your journals in print format?

If the Library subscribes to the print copy of a journal, you can ask to be on the routing list.

You will receive the journal right away. Students will have access to the journal after you return it.

Contact Suzanne Holvenstot (920-498-5732) to add your name to a routing list.
