Traditional Reserves
Faculty sometimes want an entire class to view the same video or reference the same text. They can ask the Library staff to put those items at the Reserve Desk.
Contact Ellice to put an item on Traditional Reserve.
Electronic Reserves
Electronic Reserves are a way to give your students 24-hour access to your:
- syllabi
- notes
- presentations
- podcasts
- supplemental readings
- sample tests
- sample papers
- style sheets
- spreadsheets
- websites you recommend
- scanned documents
- images, etc.
By going to the E-Reserve Home Page, students can search for this material by instructor name, course name, or course number.
Then they can view the information, save it, or print it out. If they do not have the appropriate software on their computers, they can download the necessary viewers for free.
Fill out the Electronic Reserve Request Form to set up your E-Reserve course page. The librarians take care of loading all of your documents, files, and links.
If you want to learn how to load documents yourself, you can go through a one-hour Super Faculty training session by contacting Kim LaPlante.
