The File menu has been replaced with the Microsoft Office Button found in the upper left corner of the screen.
Click for common tasks such as new, open, close, save, etc.
Microsoft Help
Click the Help button in the upper right of the screen to access Office's help screens.
Type your questions in the Search Box.
Line and Paragraph Spacing
Tip: To change the line spacing, go to the Paragraph section on the Ribbon and click the down arrow on the Line Spacing button
.
Here you can also change the spacing before and after a paragraph. 
File Types
.docx, .xlsx, .pptx Oh my!
Office 2007 has a new file format. New extensions will end with an “x” . . . such as .docx, .pptx, .xlsx
If you have Office 2003 at home, you will want to save your files so that they are compatible. Click the Office Button, choose Save As, and select Word97-2003 document.
Headers and Footers

Adding Headers and Footers:
On the Insert tab, in the Header & Footer group, click Header or Footer.Choose a style and enter your text. Use the design tools to customize your header or footer.
To add a page number, click on Page Number and choose the location you desire.
Close the Header and Footer view (on the right side of the screen) when you are finished.
