You can start by typing your search terms into the Quick Search box or click on the Basic Search or Advanced Search options.

Basic Search retrieves any records that contain one or more of your search terms.

• Type the terms in the Search For box.
• Choose the type of search in the Search By box.
• Set any Limits to narr ow you r results and click Search.

Advanced Search lets you use drop-down menus to build the specific search you want.

• Type the terms in the search boxes.
• Choose to search all of the terms, any of them, or as a phrase.
• Select a connector (AND to connect concepts and narrow your search, OR to include synonyms, NOT to exclude terms).
• Set any limits to narrow your search by location or item type and click Search.

The Subject Search searches for Library of Congress Subject Headings.

The Author Search searches for materials by authors' last names.
