What are E-Book Resources?

E-Books are complete books that can be accessed online. You can use Library Search to search all of our e-book resources at once.

Or you can choose to search a specific resource.

  • Ebook Central - E-books that can be viewed by an unlimited number of students at once.
  • EBSCO E-Books - E-books that can be viewed by one or two students at once.
  • O'Reilly Online - E-books that can be viewed by an unlimited number of students at once. Users will need to enter their NWTC email to access the database. 
  • OverDrive - Collection of fiction and non-fiction e-books and audio-books.

Accessing E-Book Resources

On-campus users can access resources in Ebook Central or EBSCO E-Books without logging in, but you need to sign in to save favorites and take notes.  You will need to enter your NWTC email to access O'Reilly ebooks. 

If you are off-campus, you will first need to login with your student or employee ID number and computer password in order to access the Library's e-book collections.
