Does the Library Buy Textbooks?

The NWTC Library purchases copies of the textbooks required for the most popular courses.

These textbooks are available at the 2-Hour Textbook Collection at the Circulation Desk and may be checked out for two hours at a time for use in the Library.

An alphabetical list of 2-hour textbooks is available here.

In addition:

  • A few instructors donate older editions or place a text on reserve.
  • Occasionally, an instructor will choose a textbook that the Library owns as an ebook.
  • Members of the ACES Club may find a textbook in the ACES Book Closet in the Library (for members only).
