Checking out Materials

Anyone who lives in our district can check out materials from the NWTC Library. Students need to know their ID number or present their Student ID card. Community members need to show proof of address when setting up a library account.

The NWTC Green Bay campus library is located in the Student Center building on the second floor (SC215).  The NWTC Marinette and NWTC Sturgeon Bay Libraries are in the center of their buildings.

Only NWTC students and employees can access our online resources from off-campus or request items through Interlibrary Loan.  Community users may purchase a $2 3-Month access card to use on-campus computers and access online resources.

Renewing Material

Need more time with your books, videos, or magazines?

If no one else is waiting for them, many materials will auto-renew up to two times.  You will receive a new due date via email.

If your materials do not auto-renew, you can request a renewal from the librarians in the following ways (if there is no waiting list and you have not renewed too many times already):

  • In person at any of the NWTC Libraries,
  • By calling the Library at 1-800-422-NWTC ext. 5493
  • Or online by viewing your Library account. Login (with your first or last name and ID number) and choose to renew some items or all items.  NOTE: You will not be able to renew items online if there is a block on your record or if you have renewed too many times.
