Library Search - Finding Articles, Books, Videos and More

Overview

When you choose the Catalog (No Articles) option, your search results can include books, e-books, DVDs, online videos, journals (not articles), equipment, and audio books.

You can start by typing in one word (such as adhd) or a phrase (such as welding safety procedures).

Result Options

Your results list gives you many options!

Electronic items (e-books and online videos) will include a link to "Click to watch or read". You will be asked to login if you are off-campus.

You can "See All of the locations" that house copies of this item and use the Request It button to place holds on items that are on the shelves (at any campus) or are checked out.   Login to your Library account before placing holds.  Items at other campuses will be sent to your campus location and you will be notified.

You can add items to your Cart so you can keep track of resources that you are using for projects.

You can Email item information to yourself or to others.

Sorting

Library Search normally sorts your results by how relevant they are compared to your search terms.  However, you can also change it to sort by date or by title.
