Library Services Fall 2020

In Person Access

  • The Library is open Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
  • Use a computer or print in the Library.  Study alone at a table in the Library, in the hallway, or in one of the 4 study rooms.
  • Give your ID number upon entering and exiting the Library. 
  • Wipe down computer workstations, printers, and study rooms tables.

Virtual Help

Laptops

  • Students who need to borrow a laptop (or a laptop/hot spot combo) should contact their instructor and ask them to submit a NWTC Laptop Computer Need referral in Starfish.  Please only ask for a hot spot if you do not have any internet access.  If your instructor requires Respondus Browser for tests, please note that Chromebooks will not work.
  • When a laptop is available, students with referrals receive an email and text with a link to schedule a pickup appointment in the Library entrance. In order to prioritize requests, students cannot come to the Library for a laptop without a referral and appointment.

  • Students can access Off-Campus Software via their personal computers or from laptops checked out from the Library (with instructor Starfish referral and pickup appointment).
