Evaluation is an important part of the research process that helps you assess whether particular sources will be useful in your research. This module gives you the basics on evaluating potential resources for authority, accuracy, currency, and other criteria. In addition to library sources, how do we find and evaluate web sources we might be able to use in our academic work? Included in this module are specifics on choosing the best web source, identifying types of bias, and spotting "fake news."
