LinkedIn Learning Online Videos and Tutorials

LinkedIn Learning is an on-demand library of high-quality instructional videos covers a vast range of technology, teaching, and business skills taught by industry experts.

Use the instructions below to embed LinkedIn Learning videos on a Canvas page or as an Assignment. NOTE: Use Chrome for best results. Firefox and Safari can be used if you first enable cross-site cookies for Canvas.

1. Create a Canvas page (usually within a module)
2. On the Toolbar, click on the Apps icon  > View All > Select  LinkedIn Learning
3. In the LinkedIn Learning pop-up window, search for a full course, video, or learning path.
4. Click the Add button next to the desired video(s) and then click Confirm at the bottom of the page. 
5. Click the Saved button when you are finished. And don't forget to Publish!

1. Create an Assignment.  Enter an assignment name.
2. Scroll down and enter the number of points.
3. In the Submission Type section, select External Tool from the dropdown menu, click the box next to Load This Tool in a New Tab, and click the Find button.

4. In the Configure External Tool pop-up window, click on LinkedIn Learning.

5. In the LinkedIn Learning pop-up window, search for a full course, video, or learning path.
6. Click the Add button next to the desired video and then click Confirm at the bottom of the page. 
7. Back at the Configure External Tool pop-up, click Select.

8. The url for the chosen video will appear in the Find field. Double-check that you have clicked the box next to Load This Tool in a New Tab.

8. Add instructions above the video, if desired. 
9. Click the Save & Publish button.
