Ways to Add Library Resources

The NWTC Library subscribes to over 235,000 e-books, 200,000 online videos, 100,000 e-journals, and millions of online articles that are high quality and licensed under copyright agreements.

There are 3 easy ways to add Library resources in your Canvas courses:

General Instructions for Adding a Link

There are three main ways to add hyperlinks to external resources. 
  1. Use the Link icon in the the Rich Content Editor.

  1. Use the Insert menu on the menubar of the Rich Content Editor.

  1. Add a Page to a Module 

Click the Add buttonAdd button

Select External URLExternal URL option in menu

 
Remember to include the proxy prefix https://ezproxy.nwtc.edu/login?url= at the beginning of Library urls (unless you are linking to LinkedIn Learning, Ebook Central, or O'Reilly). If the url has Safe Links encoding, paste it into https://www.o365atp.com/ to decode the link before adding to Canvas.
