WISCAT is the statewide catalog for most Wisconsin libraries (including the NWTC Library).

Use the Basic Search box at the top of the screen or click on the Advanced Search option to enter keywords for searching.
- Choose Title if you are searching for a specific item. Choose Subject if you are searching more broadly.
- The following words are optional: and, at, by, etc., for, from, in, of, on, to, with.
- As you type, options will appear below the search box. You can select one of those options or type the Enter key or click the magnifying glass icon to search the keywords you entered.
As you look at the results list, WISCAT will continue to bring in records from other libraries and will show you on the right side how many Search Resources are still being searched. If you have been interacting with the results already, you will get a message about additional results that have been found. Choose Add to Results.
As you are reviewing results, you can click the "Push Button" icon under the book image to Request the item from other libraries. Otherwise, you can also click on the image of the book cover to learn more about the book and then click the orange Request This Item button from the details screen.
